Can you still deliver your child vaginally if you have herpes? Obviously not with an outbreak occurring, but can you still deliver even if you’re clear for no breakouts???

Backstory: I ended up contracting it through anal sex and I only breakout on my asshole (which hurts like hell 😭)

Anyways, I’ve had breakouts before and went to my doctor to receive a culture for diagnosis. The breakouts have been cleared up by the time I went in, so the cultures came back negative. However, I do know that I have it!

My husband and I are family planning and due to my previous health issues, my doctor says I will have complications if I end up having a C-Section.

I will greatly appreciate any advice on this ladies!
