Gluten free??

Question

Do gluten free foods taste different from regular food?
Like I know there gluten free noodles. Do they taste like regular noodles? You see what I’m saying? I’m just curious

For the most part yes. I just started a gluten free diet due to stomach issues. I LOVE gluten free bread. I have yet to try gluten free noodles but I have been loving gluten free cookies, crackers, etc!

My sister went gluten free and said the food tasted better if you find the right brands. But her groceries are more expensive than before. But well worth it as she doesn’t get sick after eating certain things anymore.

Coming from someone who's got celiac disease, it depends. With pasta noodles I can't really tell the difference but with breads or cakes I totally can. I feel like the bread is a little more dry than normal bread. But it doesn't taste bad just a little dry.

I've only tried gluten free cakes and it was very dry compared to regular.  My little cousin is on a gluten free diet so we've experimented with gluten free desserts. We've also made chicken nuggets and noodles for her, I just haven't tried it.

Not bad but they are different. Gluten free noodles are usually rice noodles which are very good but do have a different texture. In my opinion gluten free bread isn’t very good.

Some taste similar but i can usually tell a difference when i eat my sisters foods compared to mine
