Isn’t it to early?

Question

Went to the doctor yesterday and he told me I’ve been having contractions but because I’m not dilated yet that he can’t really give me any restrictions, but to go to labor and delivery if any pain or tightening persist. I feel her movement but I’m nervous/worried because I’m only 24 weeks 3 days. I shouldn’t be having contractions this early should I?

Answer

I had contractions around 27 weeks and the dr said i was only 1 cm dilated and to do the same as you. I was able to work (sitting most the time) until 32 weeks and was put on bedrest, then at 34 weeks my water broke prematurely and i delivered my little boy. So its kind of early yes, i made it far enough it was ok but everyones different!
