Getting a cold!? Help.

Ladies Im coming down with a cold. So far I have a dry scratchy throat and awful cough. My husband has had a bad cold all week. What can I take to prevent this from getting worse. I’m 14 weeks pregnant!!

Orange juice! Vitamin C helps a lot and also warm soups to help soothe your throat. 
I don't want to recommend any medication as I don't know you or your medical history. But I know the orange juice and warm soups are always helpful.

I was sick a couple of weeks ago and nasal rinses helped a ton with congestion.  Gargling with salt water and drinking tea and soups helped with my sore throat. I also slept with my head propped up.

My husband had a cold and I've been drinking apple cider vinegar "tea". I put a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a mug of warm water and add about a tablespoon of honey too. Drink it a couple times a day and it has kept me healthy!!! Mrs. Bragg's Apple Cider vinegar is better too! 
I've also been using immune boosting essential oils. And drinking lots of water. Hope you manage to keep from getting sick!

I've been battling a cold for a week now. All I've taken for it is emergen C and cough drops. I took 1 dose of Tylenol when I had a bad throat/head ache. I was only in pain for a day but the damn nasal drippage has been lingering 😠 I'm sure there's more you can take but I wasn't sure what was safe so I just stuck to nothing lol

I just got over it after two weeks. Claritin, mucinex and I ended up having to take a Zpack.

Thank you all! My drs office closes early on Fridays or I️ would have tried calling. After OJ and rest I️ ended up taking a little mucinex and cough drops to help me sleep. The sore throat and cough have gotten worse.
