Light bleeding at 39 weeks .. anything exciting?

I’ve been having some light bleeding since this morning and have been to the hosp and they said there is nothing to worry about and to go back if it gets worse. Could be the start of my show. Last week a doctor said I was 1cm dilated and today my notes say OS-closed. Firstly. What does this mean?

Secondly. Could the blood mean anything excited? Even if I’m closed ?
