When my husband and I decided we were really ready to start trying for a baby, I used the <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android">Glow app</a> religiously. I had feared it would take us many months before we were pregnant because my family has a long history of conception issues. 
10dpo, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I was in shock! I took another test that day... and then another a few days later... we were pregnant after only one month of trying.
