Getting bv doesn’t mean that you are not clean.... it’s very common just like a yeast infection

I had BV once. It has nothing to do with being dirty or anything like that. It just happens when a type of bacteria that's always there grows too quickly.

I was diagnosed with BV at 6 weeks but my doctor wouldnt treat it until I was in my second trimester. Had BV with my first pregnancy too, with that one they gave me the same gel you got right away at like 5-6 weeks.

I had gotten that for the first time and I thought I wasn't being clean because og it,and I was embrassed too. but it's very common. don't beat yourself up over it
