I still have my wisdom teeth and every once in awhile food will get stuck and one gets infected. Had an infection at 16 weeks pregnant and now it's back, I believe. Swollen and painful on left side. The dentist gave me amoxicillin for first infection, the bad thing is dentist is closed today and tomorrow. Probably can't get appointment as fast as I'd like. I called my on call doctor at my obgyn. I just told them I think I have infection and they just called in amoxicillin for me. Would you take the antibiotic not knowing forsure if it's an infection? I feel like it's better to be safe than sorry. Any advice would be appreciated.

Also I am 36 weeks pregnant right now.
