Are they identical?

When I was pregnant I was told we were having fraternal twins with a 30% chance of them being identical due to them both being girls. Well fast forward to them being born ..Everyone says they look just alike including they're pediatrician who says they're identical, I on the other hand think they could be fraternal. What do you guys think? They were born in different sacs with different placentas.

They do look very similar but you also have to think about other children with the same parents. They usually all look very similar. My mother and my uncle, for one, look like twins even though they aren’t because they have the same parents. Siblings look alike

If they are in different sacs I will say fraternal

It seems like they are fraternal since they had different sacs & the two placentas .
I had triplets & i only had one placenta which made them identical.

I have actually come across some fraternal g/g twins that were di/di, separate sack and separate Placentas but later on got tested and confirmed that they are actually identical. 
I was actually just talking about this with my mom and grandma today and my grandma was telling me about her grandmother had fraternal twins that turned out to be identical but unfortunately died from SIDS at around a year old 😢.

Identical has nothing to do with them being the same sex, since fraternal can be the same sex as well, it just has to do with them coming from the same egg. In which case they would have shared a sac. What did your doctors say during your pregnancy?
