How bad is it really?

Question

On a scale from 1-10 how bad is labor... feel free to share your stories... would you do it again?

The pain at times can be an 8 or 9 but the whole experience is magical and can be really empowering. I’d do it again in a heartbeat xxx

Uhm 20 out of 10 for me lol. First baby epidural worked and I was fine but it didn’t work for my second and I was traumatized and had to be given oxygen bc I couldn’t even breathe through the pain. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different though? And apparently I blocked it all out of my head enough at this point bc now we’re preggo with baby #3 🤣

i believe it's different for everyone since everyone's pain tolerance is different I've given birth 3x and I'm ttc again for me it's really not that bad i believe the worse it's ever gotten for me was like a 4 or 5 on a scale of 1 to 10 and that was for my longest labor of 36 hours

Honestly labor was like a 2 on a scale of 1 being not bad to 10 being out of this world bad. I labored at home until 8 cm and even then my contractions never felt worse than when they first started.

I had to get induced with pitocin and it started out not too bad, then I got an epidural when the pain was 5/10 because I had heard how bad they could be with pitocin (I was dilated to 5 at that point). Well the epidural made things pretty great until it stopped working. I ended up feeling the whole right side of my body from 6-9 cm which took about 90 minutes. My son turned transverse during that time (after being head down since 20 weeks! Little jerk) and it gave me the WORST back labor.  I️ say it was a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 because I️ feel like 10/10 would’ve had me passing out and I️ didn’t. They fixed my epidural right before i had to push, and that’s also when he turned head down again. Then my epidural wore off again when I was getting stitched up 🤦🏻‍♀️

depends on who you ask, my mum had 4 of us and said it wasn't bad at all...I'm scared cus I suffer with period pain whilst she never did *shrugs*

10/10 ! Without any Pain Relief! Natural Vigan birth 2 times! Baby no 3 coming in January! And yes I would do it again for kids and my hubby but it’s hurt like bitch!!!!!

My last delivery was the worst. Couldn't get an epidural and I ended up getting pitocin to speed things up. It was absolutely horrible!!!!!! I delivered 2 babies prior and it wasn't nearly as bad. I'm currently pregnant again and my fear is going through that again!

Non pitocin contractions are not bad at all they're a 5 or 6 out of 10. Pitocin contractions are like a 10! I felt like my back was going to break in half. I made it to 7cm before I got the epidural put in.
