at the age of 30 i decided to come off birth control and start ttc. i was on the depo injection for a long time so knew it would take a while. fast forward a year after hair started growing in places where it never had an a uncomfortable and very painful abyss's later i went to the drs after a nurse advised me i may have Poly cystic ovaries due to excess facial hair. i was fast tracked to have internal scan and low and behold it was confirmed i had PCOS. i asked about treatment and got told basically to go away lose at least 5 stone and they might be able to help. fast forward to now being 35 yrs old still struggling with weight even though i've been going to the gym ans swimming regularly and tried numerous diets and still feel i am losing this battle. i have periods at a cycle length of approx 33 -35 days i just want to wish everyone well and hope that your dreams come true.
