In July, I met my boyfriend through our high school band. He’s a trombone player and I’m a saxophone/color guard member. We really clicked once we started talking, and quickly started to like each other. We’ve been “dating” for about 2 months. A couple of weeks ago, I was changing for my gym class and a girl made a comment about my stretch marks and how they were gross. In my last relationship, my boyfriend told me that I was fat and I needed too lose weight, and our relationship ended very quick. Once I told my boyfriend about the comments that the girl and my ex made, he boosted my confidence a crap ton. He told me that I wasn’t the only person in the relationship who had stretch marks, which made me feel better. I’m very thankful to have a wonderful, caring, and hilarious boyfriend.
