Firstly, some background. I had my son last year at 28 weeks, he was born by emergency c-section and they were unable to revive him. Following my c-section I had an infection which resulted in a second op almost a month later. This led to me spending a lot of time being relatively immobile so I moved in with my mum. In an effort to help me she taught me how to knit and since then I have been knitting baby items to sell for charity.
Recently, some women at my support group have fallen pregnant with their rainbow babies and I have knitted them each a blanket like the below. I'd be interested to know if there would be a demand for these from women expecting or hoping to have their rainbow babies (particularly those based in the U.K.) before I start making lots more! I'm thinking I would sell them for maybe £20-£25 and deduct enough to cover wool and postage with the rest being donated to SANDS.
Any comments welcome!
