Miscarriage?

So I'm about 4/5 weeks pregnant, I was due my period today but that didn't come understandably. I've had mild cramping on and off for last few days which I understand is normal. I've been feeling general pregnancy symptoms. I went to toilet and wiped and this is what was on toilet paper after:

Could this be old blood (kinda felt like it) or start of miscarriage? 😩

Oh, Hunny! That's perfectly normal! Your baby may be the size of a poppy seed, but your uterus is already beginning to stretch and grow. This pushes out old blood, resulting in sometimes WAY MORE than that much brown discharge. You'll probably experience some pretty intense cramping as well. Should stop somewhere around 8-10 weeks. Watch for bright red blood/clots. Otherwise, all is well.

Old blood, especially around when your period is due, is pretty common! When I had my miscarriage at 5-6 weeks, I had slight cramps and brown spotting for a day, but the spotting got heavier and turned more of a rust color, then eventually heavy and red. This time around, I also had bad cramps in the beginning, and I was terrified, but now I'm almost 29 weeks pregnant! I would just keep an eye on it, if it gets heavier or starts to change color I would call, but there's no reason to panic right now! Good luck!

It looks like old blood. You should be ok, but if you start bleeding then go get checked out. Congratulations!

with my mc for about an hour i had really bad cramps. i mean in pain crying. then i started spotting brown. but mine was much much more then yours. this went on for about a week then i started to cramp again and bleed heavy. keep an eye out but you should be ok. best of luck.

Looks like old blood. Keep an eye on it. If it gets worse and you have cramping call your doctor. 
Have you had sex recently? I spotted early in my pregnancy after I had sex - which is totally normal.
