glucose test???

so my appointment for my glucose test is at 2:15 pm wednesday.. on a post, i saw people saying not to eat after midnight the night before, some people saying a few hours.. what did yalls doctors tell yall??

I was told to eat regularly. Just don't have a big sugar load before the test. My test was at 12 50pm and I ate a larger breakfast, protein rich then ate lunch after the test was over.

If it's the one hour one, I don't think you need to fast.

I was told to eat normally but avoid a big sugar load, and to not eat or drink anything for two hours before the test. I had a couple pieces of ezekiel bread with peanut butter in the morning

My at home nurse said if I do eat to eat some protein, like eggs or something. Nothing sugary

Mine was the 2 HR test and u had to fast for 8 hrs b4

I was told I could eat but avoid carbs, so scrambled eggs would be fine. I fasted though
