Aaron’s RANT.

So I received a Aaron’s (rent to own) brochure in the mail about there Black Friday deals going on November 20th - 27th. Me & my fiancé is in need of a washer & dryer in our new home so we jumped at the sale they was having for a set just for $60 a month! Which is better then we’ve seen yet. Only problem was my fiancé works day shift & I work evening shift so we really hardly have any time to do anything. So I naturally call to see what we can work out over the phone. I explained to the woman how we was crunched for time & really was interested in the deal. She calls me back telling me I can do the application over the phone. She asked me all my personal info along with my fiancé’s because I let her know id like for him to be added as well so he can make the payments on the days I couldn’t & vise versa. I get a call back about 2 hours later from the actual manager telling me I was approved & we sat up a delivery date for us to get the washer & dryer which was tmrr evening. We also set up the payment plans & the dates we’d be paying. I was told the total was going to be $63 & only $32 for the delivery. Which I agreed to everything. About 5 minutes after being told by the manager everything was fine, the woman calls back & says my fiancé’s social security number & name did not match. I thought she must have gotten it wrong so I gave it to her once again & she tells me she’ll call back after they run it through. She calls back & the same thing happens. They don’t match. She runs it through for the 3rd time & calls back telling me since it’s been 3 tries & still no match it’s a red flag & they will not do business with us. I thought that was a bit to far considering I know for a fact his name & number was completely correct because I had his card in my hand looking directly at it naming everything to her word for word. So I proceeded to ask if I could send an email to them with a picture of it. In hopes they would realize I’m in no way trying to scam them. She then told me we could come into the store & show them his card after telling me they will not do business with me?? At that point I felt like they was just having me run in circles because one minute I’m making plans to get the washer & dryer tmrr evening & the next I’m being told I’m being suspicious & they won’t do business with me....then she turns around & says I can bring in the card, but she never said it was a guarantee that they would still do business with us either. Needless to say they lost a potential customer tonight!
