Named after his ex?

So I keep having this feeling that it's a girl and everyone is telling me it's a girl so I've been thinking of more girl names. I'm in love with Selma but my boyfriend dated a girl for a little bit in high school named Selma in high school so I'm a little iffy about it. We talked about it and he said he wouldn't have a problem with it because he would think about me and his daughter when he says her name not his ex. Do you think it's weird or am I overthinking?
