Is this a "red flag" or simply overreacting?

If while making out with someone, (crossed the 3 month mark) the person tells you "if I don't stop now, I'll assault you." would you consider that a red flag or would you think that it's considerate that they told you? Is that just "sexy talk?" 
it made me uncomfortable tbh, but I don't know if I'm just overreacting and too uptight.

It’s not the most flattering way to express how he felt about the situation but I️ think we can agree he meant in a complimentary way. I️ would only consider it a red flag if you let him know it made you uncomfortable & he disregards it.
