Thyroid issues

Recently received my test results. Elevated testosterone and an under active thyroid. I’m being put on Synthroid 50mcg and go see my doc for a face to face after the holiday for my ultrasound results. I have sooooo many questions now that I’ve processed this information! Is it possible to have only this and not full blown pcos? (She hasn’t told me yes or no on that one yet but they hinted at it during ultrasound) how does one develop a thyroid condition at 30yo?? Is this permanent? Will I finally get a period and how soon?!

As you can see I’m extremely happy to finally have answers but can’t bear to wait any longer! Anyone go through this that can give me some insight/peace of mind? Anything will help!!
