WARNING: Target Furniture Containing Formaldehyde

I got target shelves ("room essentials") was the brand. Once i put them together i could barely breathe- there was such a bad smell choking me.

I then realized there was a warning label that the wood contains formaldehyde, a carcinogen. Are you effing kidding me?

I returned it and all of the employees were stunned. Come to find out, there's a brand sold at Target ("way basics") and they sell formaldehyde-free furniture. aw how freaking sweet of them, i didn't think i needed to even worry about that garbage.
