How early can you take a baby into a pool?

I will be having my child at the end of February or beginning of March. Starting in June when school ends, I help a friend out and babysit. I usually take her kids swimming once a week. My baby will be 4ish months. Is that too early to expose a baby to chlorine?

You just want to make sure the water temp is right for small baby.

My son loved the pool at 6 months. I would t out them in the pool if they're younger than 4 months. Maybe just dip their toes in and see how they like it.

I took my daughter for the first ti when she was 5-6 months old and she absolutely loved it. It took her a few min to get used to it. We started at just her feet in the water and worked up to her neck and held her laying on her back. Once she got used to it she was kicking and splashing and having so much fun. I hope your LO enjoys it as much as mine does

4 months is okay but only for a short time (their body temperature drops quickly) and warm shower right after to get the chlorine out.
