I'm 23 years old pregnant with my second baby. I had my first at 17. I've thinking about what to do after I have this baby if I want to go on birth control or if I want to get my tubes tied. I've been threw a lot so I'm to the point of getting tunes tied. But the same time want 3 or 4 kids total. My daughter father not in the picture. Last year I left a bad situation where I was beat on by my ex fiance, someone I knew since 5th grade. Now pregnant by someone who I very much car about. But they won't date me even though they say they like me a lot. I keep getting hurt from not being dated for no good reason to beat on. I just need advice on what maybe I should do, because I'm just tired of men at this point. Not sure if I can handle another pregnancy later on then turning out bad again.

don't get tubes tied until you're absolutely sure you don't want any more kids. It'll break your heart even more knowing you won't be able to have any more someday if you want them. Other than that, I suggest having counseling. It would probably benefit you a lot to be able to talk about things. Sorry you're going through this. :(

My best advice would be birth control. You can get many forms of it and I would probably go with an IUD. It stops you from having children and doesn’t risk any surprise pregnancies. It will make you really think about the next baby you want to have

You can find a doctor who will tie your tubes. But you said yourself that you aren’t certain about not wanting anymore kids so, don’t do it

Don’t get your tubes tied unless you’re absolutely done having children! I know 6 ladies that all regret having it done.
It breaks my heart seeing how badly they regret it now. They’ve either found someone new they wanted to start a family with, or after their first 2-3 kids were a little older they wanted more. I will never get my tubes tied because of this.

Given your age, you don’t be able to find a specialist who will tie your tubes. Apparently having them untied is more painful than having them tied, it’s just not worth it at your age, you’re still young sweetie.

I'm not sure but I think some states won't tie your tubes unless a for medical reason, because of your age. I could be totally wrong tho! I would first consider an iud or implant or even just the pill if your good at keep track of it... I wasn't so I got the iud... at least then you could possibly have a pregnancy later on with the right man! he will come along, as long as you keep on with being the best you I promise. good men are attracted to confident reliable women. =)
