Are you vaccinating your kid(s)? *no judgement❤️*

Lil backstory. I myself was vaccinated throughout my childhood. From my Hepatitis shots to my "teenager" shots. I hate shots. Always have and always will. But I know I needed them. I will vaccinate my child, even if they hate needles like I do. That's MY take on that. If you choose not to vaccinate yourself or child, no judgement from me. I see why. So many vaccines get approved and sometimes you don't know what's in those vaccines. I hated getting shots, but I did it because I know I'd rather not get Hep C or shingles or anything. I don't get the flu shot or anything because I'm old enough to make my own choices. My child will be vaccinated as long as they live under my roof. If they don't want the flu shot, however, I won't force them to get it.

If you don't want to vaccinate live somewhere isolated so that you don't put the rest of us at risk.

You missed an option that MANY are choosing: partially vaccinating or delayed schedule. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing thing. For example, my child does not need an HPV vaccine until he's old enough to reasonably be having sex. Same with Hepatitis B, which is transmitted through sex or needle sharing. However, vaccines like pertussis and measles are necessary at a young age. I pressed my pediatrician asking why are certain vaccines pushed at such a young age, she said quite simply, as kids get older, many parents stop bringing them to their wellness visits, so they try to get all the vaccines done while they're young.  I say educate yourselves on the actual illnesses these vaccines prevent, and make an educated decision if they should get it, and if so, when. Not everyone is 100% complying with the vaccination schedule, but that doesn't mean they're anti vaccine, its not a black or white issue.

We selectively vaccinate. Whooping cough and polio vaccines? Absolutely. Flu shots? No.

I was not vaccinated as a child and got my vaccines as an adult. Due to health problems, my body did nto make antibodies for most of the vaccines. I must rely on herd immunity to not get sick. If my baby is healthy enough, he will be vaccinated. I do plan to modify the recommended shot schedule though. I don't think it's a good idea to give so many at one time.

Go look up the iron lung on youtube! A preventable disease, such as polio, that still exists in the world, but people don't want to vaccinate their kids due to the fact it "causes autism" wtf...
Even if it DOES cause autism, I'd rather have an autistic child than one that's stuck in an iron lung 23 hours a day and a quadriplegic, sorry not sorry, that's not a way for your child to live their life because of your own fears.

We selectively as well as delay vaccines. We've done a lot of research and our doctor agrees with our decisions that some vaccines are not necessary especially at such young ages.

My child will definitely get vaccinated! Too many diseases out there that can be prevented from simply getting a shot . But if others choose not to then no judgement here 🤷🏽‍♀️
