Father-in-Law Dying

Please, I need advice. My father-in-law is dying and my husband is losing his ***t...

He has has a blood clot in his leg, his heart isn't strong enough to take the surgery and the other tests they want to do may kill him as well. He already has a pacemaker, but his heart is only working at 4% capacity. I have no clue how to help.

I just lost my grandpa August 31st of this year, but I can't compare that to losing a parent. I love my father-in- law so much and I love my husband. My husband is just terrified and not doing so well mentally.

I know I need to be strong for everyone and keep our day to day lives continuing. I don't want to have to be the strong one. Since I am sad and worried too.

My husband says he doesn't know what to do and feels guilty for missing work. It hurts my heart too.

I have never dealt with something like this before and could really use some advice on how to handle this..
