36 week deliveries??

Question

So I have had a couple dreams where my baby is born early.. the dream I had last night I was actually given a date. The doctor said she would be here January 5th. I’ll be 36 weeks then. 
I really have a scheduled C section for the last week in January.
As crazy as this may sound, I’m just curious about babies born at 36 weeks.. did they have to have any NICU time?

My 3rd was born at 36 weeks and was perfectly healthy and almost 7 lbs.  ☺️. Every baby is different but 36 weeks is very close to the end so chances are good for a healthy baby

I think it just depends on how babies doing! My bff has her Baby at 36+4 weeks and her Baby was in the NICU for about a month. She’s doing great now!!

They can have nicu time.. my son was born at 36weeks, and he only spent the needed time in the hospital, then discharged with me.. he was jaundice so we had to get a special blanket that he was rapped in to help him, he was only in that for a week(I forget what it was called, this was just about 7 years ago lol)..

I had 3 that were induced at 36 was due to complications with me being Rh sensitized. They all did great. All were 6 pounders and had no breathing issues. They had some problems with Jaundice, since they were Coombs +, but that was unrelated to being born at 36 wks

Your dreams have nothing to do with the real world :) it’s just your brain processing current information on hand. Don’t worry too much about it! Just enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can.
