hurt and need support

my husband and I have been trying for 3yrs and just this week I had another hurt pain.. I was 5days late on my cycle.. I usually just ignore it but I was excited so this morning I went to the store and bought a test, got home to take and what happen, I STARTED MY CYCLE... you know I'm appointment sad because I just don't understand... family and friends say when u try it doesn't happen and when u don't that's when it happens... I must be a special case...
