Should I go for Elective 👣ltrasound?!?!

I put all of my trust and faith into my body. I get a dating scan, an anatomy scan and a fetal echocardiogram due to a family history of heart defects. I don't get any more ultrasounds than that. In my opinion, there is no need. I don't need to get a sizing scan at the end or any elective ones.

If you have the money and you want to, then do it! I’m spending the $90 to do it. We are framing it in a special frame for my mom and Dad for part of their Xmas present. It’s my first child and the first grandchild, so it’s a big deal.

IMO i don't see the need for them. that $100 could be spent on a bunch of stuff for the baby versus a one time ultrasound.

I got an elective scan done at 15weeks to see the gender I paid 60$ it was a special. with my 1st pregnancy I had blood test so I didn't get a gender scan. also I was going to do a 3D ultrasound but it was 200$ and I just used that 200$ on my new baby. I will meet him soon. it's really up to u Hun.

I got an elective gender 3D scan at fifteen weeks, and I definitely felt it was worth the $100. I was actually going to go back for another, but before I knew it I am at 36 weeks and will be getting an insurance covered scan next week, so there’s no point.
