might as well just job search after the baby, youll want time with him/her anyways. keep your job now then give the 2 weeks send time with the baby and look for a new job

Isn’t it illegal to not hire someone because they are pregnant...  I understand rules about when u get paid leave and that sort of thing. But I don’t think someone can refuse you a job because you are pregnant. Legally, they’d have to have a different reason

I got hired at a new job and I was 32 weeks pregnant now I'm 34 and my doctor said I would habe her in 2-3 weeks which sucks because I thought I had 4 more but my new job knows and they are fine with it as I work part time hours and when I come back I'll be hired as full time's I was discouraged I wouldn't get the job being so far along but I must have impressed all 4 people who interviewed me because they hired me now I work 3 company's and when I have her and go back in January I'll have all 3 jobs still so it never hurts to try good luck to you

I own a business and we are very family friendly, even in this case I'd say no unless it's specifically holiday work. By the time we get you on the books and trained, you'll pretty much be going on leave.

It depends on the company and when they need someone. If they’re flexible and could wait for you until you’re ready post partum, then it shouldnt affect your chances. Most companies have a policy about how long you have to work there before they offer maternity leave, so I would probably be a delayed start date instead of you starting then taking a leave. 
Again, every company is different! That’s just based on my experience.

Guess it depends on the job, your resume and such. My guess is if they interview someone else who is also qualified they will go with the person who isn’t about to give birth and be out several weeks

I know that at least where I work at the hospital, you have to work there for a year before they pay anything for maternity leave.
