Cat owners who are first time moms

Krystal

Ok so this is my first time having a cat and my first time becoming a mother I have coworkers and family all telling me to get rid of the cat. They are all convinced that when I have the baby that the cat will jump on the baby and try to suck the breath from the baby cause of the smell of milk. Me being a animal lover I don't want to get rid of my cat and have a great feeling that my cat will not do this at all, but then I have that feeling of what if it does happen. Has anyone else had any experience of anything like that with their cat or is there nothing to really worry about????????
