IVF schedule has me nervous

For those of you undergoing IVF, how exactly do you balance the schedule of monitoring?

I am so nervous at the thought that I can’t make any work commitments for the next month. I know having a baby is priory, but my job also requires a good deal of last minute, out of town travel.

I am not comfortable letting my employer know of my current IVF plans. I am getting quite anxious knowing I am going to disappoint and have poor work performance the next month because I’m going to have to stay in town. Travel is an essential function of my job.

How do you balance things like this?
