Can someone tell me the labor & delivery process from the moment you get there until you leave ?

I’m soooo ready , yet nervous to have my baby , i just want to know everything that goes on during the process ? I’d like to hear your stories from what you remember or what you know .. from induction to water breaking naturally , doesn’t matter just curious

hell. You go to hell for a couple of hours.  And come back with a baby.

The experience can be so different... everything from a scheduled surgery to an all natural home birth... I really liked the book by Ina May Gaskin that talks about natural childbirth and it gives a whole lot of stories from women about their experiences. Also read the birth stories section on here.

Search birthing stories in groups and there is a group where women give very detailed stories of their births. Congratulations and I wish you a happy rest of your 9 months.

did you not take a birthing class or talk with your physician?

you go in, they send you to triage to monitor you to see if you will be admitted. they send you to a room where you get hooked up and get asked a billion questions. you labor however you choose to. you have your baby. they send you to a recovery room where you can shower and clean up. you hang put with your baby until you get to go home.
