Give me hope

I had a positive hpt on saturday, (3 days before expected period), light but clearly positive, and I had a blood test today and it came out negative (4.71)... did I miscarry? do I still have any hope? is there any other reason for a positive test to be negative a couple days later?

I’m not bleeding, spotting or cramping (yet?)
