Just my opinion... but I think it really depends on you and your partner's relationship with them. For my husband and I, that was something very special in private that we wanted to keep between the two of us. But that does not mean that that's the right choice for everyone. Like I said, everyone's family is so different. I think it also depends a lot on family tradition and dynamic. My best advice is to not make any rash decisions, and that there is nothing wrong with letting someone know that you need to discuss it with your partner and that you will get back to them. This is something that is very special. Don't feel rushed to make a decision. And know that whatever you choose, that is the right choice for you, your partner, and your Ph

I hady MIL come to a few of my twice weekly appointments (I was high risk), she got to listen to the NST (and baby's heartbeat) and go to the ultrasound. She loved it.

I personally would only want it to be me and my husband, but if that's what you want, it's totally up to you! Everyone is different.

I had my mother in law at the big anatomy scan because it's her first grandchild and I wanted it to feel more real for her, she loved it.
