Has anyone ever had a stent?

Question

I had surgery Friday and got a stent put it for kidney stones. I get it removed Wednesday. Anyone know when it's safe to have sex after I wt it removed without any infections or pair or whatnot? My boyfriend and I live together and we usually have sex 3-4 times a week and we haven't for almost 2 weeks. 
Also if you had one before, is it painful when they remove it?

Thanks for the comments everyone! It wasn't too painful to have it removed and he said I could have sex whenever I wanted but I'm gonna wait a couple days.

Just double check with your dr when you go back to get it removed. I don't have personal experience with a stent, but I know with kidney and bladder infections, it's best to wait a few days for intercourse

Isn't any abdominal surgery an automatic at least  two weeks? I haven't had a stent. I'm just basing this off of putting two and two together. Ask your dr though. Even if you feel ok, your body may not be ready. All surgeries are trauma to your system. You shouldn't have to wait too
Mich longer though and there are other things you guys can be doing in the meantime
