Baby shower

I’ve had 2 baby showers before, one 6 years ago and tons of people showed up mostly family friends because I didn’t know many people. Then I had my sons baby shower 2 1/2 years ago and I only had a max of 15 people show up, which was all family and 2 friends. Mind you only my husbands family would show up... :( so this pregnancy I don’t even want to throw a baby shower because I literally spend so much time and money into it for no one to show up :( has anyone else gone through this, last time I cried so bad and I don’t really want to go through that again. . . 😩😭😭😭😭
