Was diagnosed at urgent care last night. Waiting on lab results to see if type 1 or 2.

Told my current bf (together for 1 month), and he mentioned that he used to get cold sores (which we all know is HSV1). He didn't know that was herpes. So I'm hoping it's type 1, and I got it from him. Funny enough, he was a virgin when we started dating. So I might have gotten HSV from a virgin. 😂

Before that, committed relationship for nearly two years, and single for about 5 years. 2 FWBs during that single period. So I have no idea when I might have contracted it. Best case scenario it's type 1 and it came from current bf, but I guess there's no way to be sure.
