To young to tie tubes ?

Hello ladies Iam 20 going to be 21 I am pregnant with my second child yes Iam young I know that but I wouldn’t trade being a young mom for anything in the world ! My husband is 23 . So I NEVER wanted kids to begin with I always wanted to tie my tubes young but life made a total 360 when I became pregnant with my son (2 yo in February) my baby is due in March but I never wanted a big family 2 kids for me is enough . I want to tie my tubes as soon as my son is born but everyone and their  mama is telling me Iam too young lol ! But I don’t want to go on BIRTH CONTROL either ! It messes with my hormones I hate it ! And hubby wants more kids (yes we should have talked about this etc) but our first was not planned ! Hubby said it’s really up to me but I fee so bad because I know how much family means to him I was thinking of giving him one more baby and then tie  them .i just want some advice would you rather do what you want for yourself or give your husband one more and then tie them ? I feel if I do what I want I will be selfish ... and also is 21 to young to tie my tubes ?

I feel like there are a lot of decisions still to be made before you settle on something so permanent. Maybe give yourself some time after your second is born and see how you feel then. Have you thought about getting your hubby to have a vasectomy? It’s a much more straightforward, less risky procedure, and it’s fully reversible if circumstances ever change.

I’m 22 and just had my second, my husband and I have gone back and forth on having a third. He wants to get a vasectomy when we’re completely done so we’ve been trying to decide. We decided to wait a couple years (I’m getting an iud in the mean time) and then decide to either try for another or be done all together

I recommend you wait until at least a year after baby is born to make any decisions regarding permanent birth control. I had 3 before my 23rd birthday and got my tubes tied during my c section with my third (I can't take the pill either). we thought that if we really wanted another we could just adopt (turns out that's easier said than done). I regretted the tubal within a year of my daughter's birth, not just because I realized I wanted another but also the tubal made my menstrual cramps and migraines 10x worse. we ended up getting a reversal (which was costly and took years to get) and then it took us another 8 months to conceive again. All I am saying is pregnancy and the first year can be super stressful and full of emotions and hormones and your feelings may change in time, so it is best to make this decision after that period when you aren't influenced by them.

you don't have to go on birth control nor do you have to tie your tubes to stop having kids you guys can have safer sex or wear condoms cuz you never know you might regret tying your tubes

the docs say 25yo or 3kids. but having your husband get tied is less invasive than you. so consider that

Here’s a great question. 
Are you going to hate yourself if you only have another child to please him?
Are you going to resent that child because you didn’t want another? 
Are you going to regret getting your tubes tied for the reverse of any of these reasons? 
The reason I ask, I am the last of 4 children. I’m the only one who was actually raised by our mother. She hates children. She only raised me because she loved my father, she only had me because she loved my father. Though I’ll tell you, if she could change it, I would have been the first and only child she had. 
As for me? I don’t care what my fiancé wants, I’m carrying a girl now, I’ll give it one more shot for a boy for him. After that try it’s done. I’m not having anymore children, because I won’t be able to cope and be a great parent to the ones I already have.
I’d rather give my two children the best parts of me I can, then try to have yet another because of someone else’s opinion and be a shit mom because I wanted to stop at two.
