I think things like daycare Vs. home are more of a factor here than breastfeeding though.

My first didn't get sick until he was 2. My second I was unable to breastfeed due to medication he was sick once or twice. My third got pneumonia at 2 months old and has permanent damage which still requires Albuterol treatment any time she gets a small cold. She's 4 now. 
Additionally, none of my children have ever gone to daycare or been with a sitter before age 2.

I said once or twice, but he wasn't really sick... I think it was more of an intolerance to a food that he tried when he started solids. Actually, it happened 4 days within one month... he was vomiting for 30-45 minutes straight. No fever. No other symptoms. Took him to the doctor/ER about 3 times and they couldn't figure it out. We stopped feeding him sweet potatoes and he hasn't had that problem since. He's 10 months and even though I've been sick about 3 times, he hasn't caught what I had.

My lo had a fever after her 2 month immunization. She has also had a runny nose 2 times. No cough or vomiting, even though other people in my house were sick. She is now 13 months and there are 4 adults and 4 kids living in my home. Plus my husband runs a daycare out of the home. So there are all kinds of germs around.
