Anyone on Paxil for ppd??

My doctor prescribed me a new medication for my anxiety and depression. Have any of you ladies had any success on Paxil?
My postpartum depression is horrible. My son is already 7 months old and some days I still feel like I rather be dead then to deal with all the stress I've been going through😣 I don't know why but nobody understands what I'm going through. I feel so alone!

I’m so sorry you’re feeling that way. I’m not on Paxil(I’m on Zoloft) and I understand how you’re feeling. I’m feeling as though the Zoloft isn’t working and I might switch to Paxil. 
My son is almost 4 months old and please know you’re not alone. We can talk anytime you need/want to.

My son is also 7 months and I am chronically stressed and sleep deprived. When I think of PPD, I think of a hormonal imbalance causing depression, which I don’t feel is my problem. I’ve tried both medication and counseling anyway because that is what everyone pushes a new mom with depression to do, but it hasn’t helped one bit. I get so irritated about the constant advice to “talk to your doctor,” because my doctor can’t change my circumstances. She can’t give me what I really need, which is sleep and “me time,” to do yoga, which is the tool I used to battle depression before baby. I hope medication does help you, but if it doesn’t help, you can vent to me about how you feel. I’m sure a lot of woman understand. You are not alone!

Started Welbutrin while pregnant and still taking it after birth, LO is 4 weeks old.  When we came home I tried to come off of  it, but couldn't function well with out it so went back on it.

Not in Paxil, I’m taking Zoloft and have been since my daughter was born 2 1/2years ago.  But I completely get what you’re going through ❤️
