Is yawning contagious?

Myth busters had an episode and “proved” that yawning is not contagious
News channel 11 had a part about yawning and said they are contagious 
It’s been one of the main topics my family and I cannot agree on, what do you guys think and why?

Subconciously, yes.
We yawn because our body isn't taking in enough oxygen at the time (cause of fatigue or we just aren't breathing deep enough), so the body yawns to take in a big gulp of air.
I think when we see others yawn our brain thinks 'that person is taking your air, yawn now to get more!' So we yawn without meaning to lol

In my experience, yes. I even catch my dog’s yawns.

It's not contagious the same way that an illness is, but it can be subconsciously contagious :)
