Men Feelings

so im kind of in a new relationship, but it was 2yrs of back of forth flirt and talking. we say we love each other and everything. But idk if im saying it to much through text. we say it on the phone, you know the usual goodnight i love you ttyl. when he crosses my mind through out the day that's when i start to miss him, so im always texting him nomore than paragraphs about how i feel about him and that i love him and that im thankful for him bc hes a really sweet guy. But i just want him to do the same text me something sweet or express his feelings for me tell me more than i love you. i dont/shouldn't have to ask him too but ik everyone is not a mushy persom and they don't say meaningful or cant come up with anything to say, im wondering if its hard for him to say what he's feeling or he just doesnt want to
