Is the big black hole where the heart is normal in this picture??

Answer

"Black" shows fluid in ultrasound... so I would say it's showing where the heart is and that the heart is in the right spot. It's not a hole. 
They would have to zoom in more to see the four chambers and valves but if they didn't talk to you about it or book a detailed scan I would think everything is fine/

this is my little boy at 22 weeks. the black spots are the heart and stomach. he's perfectly healthy 💙💙

All normal :) can be scary to see if they don’t explain it to you. As said before, fluid shows up black. You also see black areas where their bladder and stomach etc are I think because they’re busy swallowing amniotic fluid.
