Im Very Conflicted

I’m extremely interested in a guy from work. He is a manager but he is not one of my managers, nor my boss. I am 21 yo f and I’ve only ever been with my ex of 7 years both in a dating sense and a physical one so one could say I’m not particularly experienced. We flirt constantly and he has been pretty obvious that he’s interested as well. He is a 40 yo single m and has never been married and doesn’t have kids either. We’ve had numerous conversations and our chemistry is great. However, I feel that I’m stepping way out of my comfort zone here by dating again, because I’ve only been with one guy since I was 13, therefore I don’t feel I know the proper steps to take for a mature adult relationship. Should I ask him out for drinks? Or wait for him to make the first move? I’m conflicted because I feel as though we’re both hesitant seeing as we can’t read one another’s minds. Also I don’t want to give him the impression that I’m easy either. Any advice would be very helpful!
