Conception after abortion?

Anything would be appreciated. ..been trying 3 months.  Abortion 9 months ago...

To you people jumping to conclusions and judging this poor woman, do you even know what happened as to why she had to have an abortion?! She may have been raped, or she could have had a complication such as an ectopic. 
Before you start judging people, make sure you know the full story. 
I am pretty sure this woman who is TTC had some form of complication and didn't take to the decision lightly.

I am so very sorry you're being jumped on. I thought better of the girls in this community.

So quick to judge...geeze...It was a hard decision but I was pregnant outside of my uterus and could have died. Not to mention I was raped, although I planned to keep the pregnancy god just wouldn't allow it. Ladies there are things we have to do without choice. I have a five year old to live for.. Thank you for all you ladies who were kind and not judgemental. Today was my due date :(

Jesus Christ, some people on here are SO RUDE! And judgemental! This poor girl has clearly been through hell and back and yet people still dare to write harsh comments and be over opinionated. Fed up with shitty people in this world!

Three months really isn't that long to be trying.( although I know in feels like forever) Most people conceive between months 6 and 12. But your uterus might still be healing from your abortion. Personally I would speak to your doctor about the appropriate amount of time it takes to heal before trying to conceive again. Good luck!

I am so sorry for what you went through, although I wouldn't call it an abortion. I believe they refer to it as a d&c or something else when it's a tubal. I'm sorry again for what you went through. I would go see your doctor and maybe ask them if you should be concerned. I'm going to say well wishes and baby dust to you. And since it wasn't optional for you to keep the pregnancy I'm gonna say I hope you get your rainbow baby soon!

I'm glad to hear that you've conceived again! I had an abortion 8 years ago. Even though I know that it is very unlikely that it impacted my fertility, we've been trying to conceive for just over 7 months now, and it feels like it will never happen.

Girl I having the same issue my daughter is now 3 I got pregnant when she was 8 months and I got an abortion and in TTC now and still nothing so hang in there

For my mother it took about a year. Granted this was twenty some years ago but that's a pretty amazing recovery IMO. Her doctor encouraged her to abort because she got the chicken pox at 28. Not only was the baby likely to have complications it was extremely dangerous for her.

I'm so sorry that so many are passing judgement on you like this, you went through something awful and I hope you've healed and taken care of yourself. Terminations don't usually affect fertility, although 3 months isn't too long, if you don't conceive within a year then you need to talk to your doctor.
