varicocele veins

Hi all! so my boyfriend and i️ have been together going on 5 years. and we’ve decided to start trying for our first little babe. i’ve know for a long time that he’s had varicocele veins and when he first told me about them my first question was would this cause him to be i️nfertile. he said he’s had them since he was probably about 12 (he’s 28 now) and he saw a urologist and he said if they don’t cause him any discomfort he shouldn’t have any issues in the future. so i️ stopped worrying about it. but when we decided to start trying i️ saw a few posts about them on this app and now i’m nervous. has anyone and or their hubbys / boyfriends have varicocele veins and never had the surgery to fix it and had no trouble conceiving?? any answer would help! thanks in advance :)
