Swollen eye?

Question

My 7 month old woke up with a swollen eye and it’s kind of crusty. Should I take her into the doctor or wait it out a bit? Anyone know what it could be?

use a moist warm wash cloth and wipe baby's eye. see if crusty comes back or if swelling doesn't go down. if it doesn't go away, make a Dr appt to see if baby will need eye drops. could just be yucky got in baby's eye and body is just getting it out.

Maybe a blocked tear duct? We have to bathe our LOs eyes everyday to get the gunk off.

Could be conjunctivitis. I’d call the doctor to see if they think she should be checked.

I say give them a call tell them what’s going on and they should take you in. I can see it it’s more in her eyebrow area but you can see the difference
