Hey everyone, I just need some advise on a lip piercing. I had gotten my lip pierced over a year ago but a week ago I got a new ring for it instead of the stud. My lip swells up every night and causes me to be in a lot of pain in the morning. I take pain killers in the morning to stop the pain and take a little of the swelling away I also use bactine that cleans the piercing and numbs the area. I have pretty full lips and I got the ring from a great piercing shop in my area and it’s not too small or too tight. During the day it hurts a little but over all it’s fine. My issue now is that my lip swells up every night making the pain unbearable in the morning. I just wanted to know if there is anything else I can do to stop the pain and how long does it take for a ring like this to fully heal?
