AF is due in 5 days and looking for information

Hello ladies i need some help. For the past couple of days my body is been on hot status. my mother in law walk in my room and asked me was I ok, because I have the fan on full blast because I am hot. I can't sleep with any blanket, due to the fact I am hot all day long. after I eat I fall asleep, waking up a few hours later dripping in sweat. she told me that I am starting early menopause. I am only 37 years old. I think my body temperature is going up because my period started soon. is there any ladies out there having hot flashes before AF. I hope that my period is starting soon and not menopause.
