Scary Day

Cassandra ☠️ • Vincent coming in 2K18 💀

So last night before I went to bed, I hadn’t felt my baby move but two times; I didn’t think anything of it because he seems to sleep from maybe an hour before I sleep until after I get out of the shower in the morning (I guess the sound of water hitting my belly wakes him up). Then this morning he moved once when I was eating.

He moved only once while I was at work. I had been at work for three hours and I hadn’t felt him move at all for two hours. So I end up leaving work and going to the hospital.

Long story short, I was so dehydrated that it started to affect my baby. I feel like such a negligent parent already. I just get so busy at work that I don’t have much time to drink water with it being the holidays in retail. 😢

After being on the stress monitor for an hour, he started showing better response readings. He’s now back to being active like he usually is.

Does anyone have any tips on how to stay adequately hydrated during a busy work day besides the typical “just drink water when you can” advice? TIA.
