I have my belly button pierced and kept it in throughout my whole first pregnancy with no issues. I’m 28 weeks now with my second and it is infected and very sore. I see my doc on Friday so I’ll ask her about it then, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this? I don’t want to have to take it out unless absolutely necessary. I’ve been cleaning it twice a day with peroxide and at first it seemed to be getting better but now is worse again. If I have to take it out will it close up?
